The CRA officially recognized the Foundation as a charity.
Montreal, 2021/05/02 - The Malassezia Foundation is pleased to report that as of today it is officially registered as a charity with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
Martin Laurence, the Foundation’s president, said:
“We’re very happy that the CRA registration process has been successfully concluded. This constituted the last bureaucratic hurdle we faced, and clearing it means we’re now fully operational. As an officially recognized Canadian charity, we are now able to issue receipts to Canadian donors who generously contribute to our cause, allowing them to claim charitable income tax credits. For donations via credit card we have partnered with Paypal Giving Fund and Facebook. For donations via cheque, wire transfer or securities transfer, please contact us.”
